The Gilmanton Community Club was organized in 1955. At the time, noted causes were to purchase power equipment for the high school Ag shop, sewing machines for the high school home ec classroom, and in later years, they furnished materials for the signs that say “Gilmanton, Home of the Panthers” which were a class project of the F.F.A. To this day, the Community Club is an avid sponsor of the students at Gilmanton, often providing some of the funds for sports clinics, field trips and other student opportunities for travel, etc.
